Do you like liquid or powder laundry detergent the best?

If i wash my clothes in warm cold water should i use liquid or powder detergent the best? What brand do you recommend?Do you like liquid or powder laundry detergent the best?

I've used forever my own homemade detergent I've found online here it is it has a liquid and powder version I prefer the liquid





powder version





1 grated bar of ivory soap


1c arm n hammer super washing soda


1c borax





liquid version





same as above


12c of boiling water in a 5 gal bucket


mixed the powder


top off with hot water from the tap.


mix again





let it set for 12-24 hours mix again.


use 1/4c
I recommend powder detergent. Liquid has more oil in it, which means it is possible for the detergent to stain your clothes. I recommend Dreft laundry detergent in the powder, especially if you have allergies or sensitive skin (I have sever allergies, so I had to find a detergent that didn't break me out).

I use liquid detergent. I like Tide for my colored and white clothes, I think it gets the stains out better and Purell for my darks. I use liquid detergent because the powder stuff never seems to fully disolve (I have hard water).
