Is it possible to mix a powder and liquid foundation together?

Because the powder is flaky on my skin, but a good colour, and the liquid is good coverage just too dark.

i used to use liquid foundation, then put a light layer of powder on top of it, and that worked for me. im not sure about mixing them together and then applying them to your skin, but who knows, maybe it would turn out like the compact foundations. just test it, mix a tiny bit of each in a separate container and see how it works out.





also, i know you cant buy new foundation now, but when you can, check out bare minerals. its a mineral powder foundation. i use it now, and i love it so much i will never use anything else.Is it possible to mix a powder and liquid foundation together?
could you put the powder over the top of the liquid to get the best of both??

u have to first apply liquid foundation and then apply the powder on top of it with a big brush
