What is the difference between stick, liquid, and powder/mineral makeup?

What is the difference between those and the difference in the effects?

i.e. stick foundation vs. liquid foundation vs. mineral foundationWhat is the difference between stick, liquid, and powder/mineral makeup?
Stick Foundation- is like concealor or ';mousse';, creamy and spreadable. Full yet adjustable coverage. Not great for oily skin, unless you get a good brand. Covers well. can put on face directly.

Liquid- Runny, hard to find a good one. Makes the mask effect appear, but is O.K. for dry skin. It will run off if you sweat or have oily skin.

Loose powder/foundation- Comes in a pot, generally good for all skin types. Foundation is buildable coverage, powder ALONE just sets the makeup in place. Buff or swirl on.

Pressed Powder/foundation- virtually no mess. coverage like loose powder but you dont swirl/buff it on, you smear it on.

There are also sprays wich you spray on a sponge then rub on face. I love this stuff, and it has light to medium coverage.

There are also pump bottles that are also amazing. same applications as sprays.

GOOD LUCK!
