Remember.don't overload! Is it better to use liquid or powder detergent for laundry?
I think it depends on the brand and the user's preference. I've used powder for years, and found that with the cheaper brands, the powder didn't dissolve completely. Like an earlier answer stated, overfilling your washer will do this as well even with expensive brands, but some cheaper brands will do it no matter how many clothes go in.
With the liquid brands, I agree that sometimes I use too much, resulting in having to spend more $. Also, after using the brands that are perfume and dye free, the clothes seem to still have an odor.
Either way, I've found that putting the soap in before adding the clothes gives it enough time to dissolve and disperse in the water, helping out the situation. You could also argue which is better for the environment - a plastic bottle or a cardboard box?Is it better to use liquid or powder detergent for laundry?
Liquid dissolves better than powder so it wont leave visible residues on dark colors the way powder can.
liquid dissolves better in cool water.
liquid
i like liquid, sometimes powder detergents don't dissolve all the way, especially when using cold water
Liquid is much better. You are less likely to get white marks on clothes from powder that has dried onto them. It's also better for the machine because it doesn't clog the dispenser, which in turn means less cleaning!
I prefer powder, there are more on the market and some with residual perfumes which help
make sure you put the powder into the tub whilst the water is filling then let it agitate a little before putting your clothes in
I like liquid a lot better. The powder gets clumpy and doesn't completely dissolve in the water.
