Which is better for the for the environment, liquid or powder laundry detergent?

the liquid it is more concentrated and requires less packaging and it will do more wash loads.Go with the cold water detergents uses less energy (no hot water) for the same wash ,avoid bleaches when doing laundry they are hard on the environmentWhich is better for the for the environment, liquid or powder laundry detergent?
It takes less energy to haul a powder than it does a liquid. Essentially, you are paying to haul water hundreds of miles, when you could simply add the water when the powder gets to the destination.

If you must use a liquid for convenience, use the most concentrated one (sometimes labeled ';ultra';) that you can.Which is better for the for the environment, liquid or powder laundry detergent?
Either liquid or powder detergent can be full of fillers, and unwanted chemicals. Look for a natural product that is concentrated as much as possible: the kind I use needs only one ounce per load! There is no room in that ounce for a lot of fillers, and junk. Also takes up less resources to package and ship!
What is in the soap is more important than if it is liquid or powder. Find a soap with enviro friendly ingredients. There are a number of them available on the market now. No sulphites, vegtable emulsifiers (often from soy) and no dyes or scents added.
Neither, Soap nuts are. I use them and they are clean for the environment and for clothing, even for allergies. They are all natural.

neither one is better. the better solution is an eco-friendly laundry detergent which is available at most supermarkets
Out of the environmentally friendly liquid and powder, it takes less energy to make the powder one.
