Switching from liquid to powder formula?

i just switched my baby from liquid to powder formula and i think its making him very gassy. should i switch back or give it time? does it just take time to get used to? its the exact same kind of formula enfamil lipil.Switching from liquid to powder formula?
Powder will usually cause a little more gassiness than the pre-mixed although it should get better over the next few days. Try stirring it with a spoon instead of shaking it or mixing up larger batches ( in a formula pitcher) to keep the extra bubbles out to see if that helps. Some babies just prefer the pre-mixed even though they are basically the same.

Good luck! :) Switching from liquid to powder formula?
It really shouldn't give them too much of difference because it's basically the same thing, make sure you are mixing it correctly.

I would give it time though, a week or week and a half...keep mental notes of watery stools or constipation.

And always call their pediatrician and see what their opinion is about the situation.

Just give it some time, but to reduce the bubbles from shacking, try stirring it with a knife or fork, this helped my baby a lot! If it doesn't go away and you still want to use powder try enfimil genltease powder its for gassy or fussy babies. Best of luck!
when you shake it bubbles form. let it settle in the bottle a little before you give it to him. it could also be the bottles that you are using. i don't think liquid to powder would make a big difference if it is the exact same kind. good luck tho.
just give it some time, even though its the same formula its different on the babies stomach, they cant handle switching stuff like we can, so give it a few days and if it don't work switch him back to the liquid, good luck
