I always put liquid foundation on. But when I go to apply powder I get foundation on it. How long should I wait? How long should you wait after putting liquid foundation on to apply powder?
First off make sure your moisturizer is dry before putting on foundation. Next put on the foundation, and do your eye makeup and then do the powder and blush. Or you can put powder on first, foundation, then powder again. (the first powder acts as a primer almost)
Also, dont swipe the powder on your face, rather press it on or use a powder brush. How long should you wait after putting liquid foundation on to apply powder?
if you put it on with a foundation brush instead of that free pad that they sell you with the powder it will go on perfect.
5 min
You should only use loose powder, not pressed powder.
If you do, you hardly need to wait at all. Just tap the powder down into your brush and apply to your face for a gorgeous matte finish.
Pressed powders use lots of clay and fillers to stay in the compact. Stay away from them except for emergencies.
I usually do my eyes then when i'm done with that, I can clean up any ';messes'; before the powder goes on. Plus that insures plenty of time!
how much make up do you wear that's alot? you wait 10 mins, your not ugly you just see what people tell you ,their jealous.
I usuallly do my liquid foundation, then eyes, then powder, but if you use a powder brush it should go on fine.
YOu will always get your foundationon the powder pad when you apply over liquid foundation. I suggest when the powder pad gets too soiled to replace it with a new one. They sell these in packages at any drugstore.
i use the liquid and right after use the powder. if you are using right amount of liquid you should not have to wait long.
1-2 minutes...make sure the liquid foundation is close to fully absorbed into the skin before applying the powder

Can you put powder bronzer over liquid foundation?
I have always used powder foundation,.. but now I need more coverage and want to switch to mac liquid foundation. This is probably a stupid question, but can you put powder bronzer over liquid foundation without it being streaky and all?? I live off bronzer and don't want to change my whole makeup routine. Also ..I feel like liquid foundation is going to be thick and cakey feeling?..Is it?... Whats your personal preference? Can you put powder bronzer over liquid foundation?
I use liquid foundation and bronzer. And yes I also do live off bronzer myself. Hahaha. No it should be fine, I've been doing it forever (years) and never had a problem. Just make sure you blend. And liquid foundation doesn't feel cakey to me.. just don't get a heavy one. If your sensitive to it get what is called a tinted moisturizer (light foundation) that will even out your skin tone. But I prefer liquid over powder I feel like it looks more natural. Hope this helps(:Can you put powder bronzer over liquid foundation?
Yes, you can apply powder bronzer over liquid foundation.
Liquid foundation works good if you have acne scars. If not, than I think powder foundation is quicker and easier to use. If you are trying to cover up acne, then I don't think either of them is going to do a good job on your face.
Point is, yes..you can apply bronzer over your liquid foundation.
no its not cakey and thick feeling if you get a good one, it is actually gonna let your skin breathe. i find that liquid foundation is better than powder foundation especially for more coverage. and no its not gonna streak i do it everyday and it doesn't mess up anything! i personally have acne scars and i use liquid foundation over powder. liquid foundation tends to last longer on the face to:) hope i helped!
Yes... I do it everyday! lol
Some liquid foundations do feel very cakey when applied, especially if you put on quite a bit. I use Smart Shade makeup from Almay. I think their foundation is amazing. I decided to give it a try, and the first few times I put it on, my face didn't look or feel like I was wearing any foundation, but it was still able to cover up all my imperfections I wanted to cover. I love it! They have concealers and other products to go along with it, which I haven't tried, but I'm sure they're just as amazing!
Yes you can and do not over do the foundation or it will feel cakey !
IDK WHAT EVER

If I use liquid concealer (the pen type), should I use liquid foundation or loose powder on top?
I have a few pimples and zits, and not too much un-evenness, but still needs to be covered. I don't want to cake on too much, but want coverage still. So after concealer, liquid foundation or loose powder? If I use liquid concealer (the pen type), should I use liquid foundation or loose powder on top?
Concealer, Foundation, and Powder all do Diff. things.
Concealer... does just that conceals the spots you want to hide.
Foundation... is also just that gives you a good clean even base to work from.
Powder... it just sets everything so oil is less likely to move things around.
I use all 3 and I don't get caky it depends on what products you use, How much your using... and just knowing how to apply the makeup correctly. If I use liquid concealer (the pen type), should I use liquid foundation or loose powder on top?
I think that the liquid kind looks like your face is melting and the powder kind looks like your face is dry so this is what I use

Why did you like them?Worst liquid, powder, and mineral foundations you've ever tried?
The avon cream to powder foundation, just didn't feel right.
Now i use Botanics, a lot more natural.Worst liquid, powder, and mineral foundations you've ever tried?
the worst? cover girl tru blend
there old one was amazingg but they changed it from creamy to liquidy and like it sucks dont waste your money.
water, talcum and graphite. i can't build a house on any of them
Ughh cover girl tru blend. Horrible, i used to get it but they chnaged the formula and now it just sits on your face, never get it. Most covergirl products arent to great anyway.
Cover girl just sucks don't buy any of their stuff. It looks really cakey and fake and gross.
I like Physicians formula, Revlon, Neutrogena and L'oreal a lot better. They smooth on better and look a lot cleaner and more natural.
Rimmel is pretty good and cheap too. Just apply it right.
And I hate Clinique, that stuff is way overpriced and it isn't any better than Revlon.
Mary Kay is ok. But the makeup isn't that great for me. I like the microdermabrasion and the satin hands kits.

Cascade dishwasher detergent, liquid gel or powder?
Does one clean better than the other? Do you get more for your money with a certain type? We have always used the powder but wondering if we get more washes for our money that way or would we with the liquid gel or if there is really any difference.Cascade dishwasher detergent, liquid gel or powder?
I use the liquid Cascade complete I like the liquid better than powder just my preferance . I think the liquid dissolves betterCascade dishwasher detergent, liquid gel or powder?
I used Cascade gel packs . it has duel thing . powder and gel. and definently it cleaned much better than powder .
I use Sunlight. It's better than Cascade.
I like the Cascase power paks (gel packs) with dawn. To me we get more washes from a pouch or bucket than the liquid gel bottles and power. The paks have it all in one little pax, just drop in the dispenser and go.opera cd uk

Liquid foundation or powder? which is better and which look more natural?
liquid foundation or powder? which is better and which look more natural?Liquid foundation or powder? which is better and which look more natural?
Liquid fondation and powder both! First liquid then powder!Liquid foundation or powder? which is better and which look more natural?
I've found that using liquid and powder foundation together looks more natural than using either one by themselves, plus provides better coverage. I usually apply my liquid foundation with my fingers, then put powder foundation on top to set it. It sounds like a lot, but it feels like I have nothing on, and it lasts all day. :)
i prefer powder because liquid foundation can turn out blotchy and will be more obvious. if you don't apply liquid foundation properly it can look too dark or light. i say go with the powder, i reckon it looks heaps more natural :)
if you really want to cover something up, then use a bit of liquid foundation on the blemish, then apply powder foundation on the entire face lightyly, because it will look cake-y and fake.
Depends on the whether. It's better to use powder during hot summer since using liquid will melt. You can also apply very thin layer of liquid then powder, either way, I'd prefer powder.
Powder...especially if you live in a humid place, liquid foundation tend to melt in your face. the downside of powder is you have to retouch often.
Liquid I love the dewy look. but I wear mineral powders during summer.
powder... looks way more natural!!!! You can brush powder off where as liquid blotches and runs.
When i see people out town i would say liquid but make sure to blend in well.
Powder, by far!
It looks very natural %26amp; keeps the sheen on your face, at bay!
powder because it wont leave major streaks across your face

Whats better for the face Liquid or Powder foundations?
I have oily/dry skin kinda ofWhats better for the face Liquid or Powder foundations?
The simple answer is if you want more sheer, natural-looking coverage go for a liquid and if you want more matte, concealing coverage go for a powder.
If you have oily skin wear powder because it will absorb the oil. If you have oily skin and you still want to use a liquid foundation, make sure it's oil free (like Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation or MAC Studio Fix).
If you have dry skin wear a liquid because it will add shine and luminosity to your skin and won't wear off.
If you have fine lines or wrinkles don't wear a powder because it gathers in the creases and will make you look older.
Hope this helps :)Whats better for the face Liquid or Powder foundations?
if you have any dryness, please do not use a powder! it settles in the flakiness and shows up as rougher, scratchy patches on your skin.
try and find an oil-control liquid.
maybelline pure is one option
you can also try one of clinique's liquid foundations. on their website, look for foundations labeled with II, which is a complexion oily in the T-zone, and dry in the cheeks/eyes. some clinique choices:
1. perfectly real make-up
2. superbalanced make-up
3. superfit make-up
4. stay true make-up
5. almost make-up
those are all good choices. i have the exact same skin type, and i'm looking at the superbalanced make-up.
good luck!
I am a huge mineral makeup advocate. It is a powder, and some people don't like that, however just blend a squirt of your facial moisturizer with it for a great liquid foundation that's good for your skin! Traditional liquid foundations have all kinds of nasty ingredients and chemicals, plus most animal test which is just awful.
I use http://Simply-Minerals.com
It is 100% all natural, chemical free, cruelty free, and vegan!
